Seashore Vacations

has successfully managed vacation rental properties on Hilton Head Island for 30 years.  Many of our staff members have 15 to 20 years of experience in the vacation rental business.  We consistently pay our owners by the 15th of each month for rental activity in their property.  Our escrow accounts (money generated by rentals and advance deposits) are managed diligently and we comply with all federal, state, and local laws governing our industry.

We inspect properties between occupancies and during periods of vacancy.  Our security checks ensure units are locked, thermostats are set appropriately, and during unusual weather occurrences we take action to prevent damage such as frozen pipes.  We handle maintenance items using qualified contractors but perform many simple repairs with our own staff keeping costs to owners at a minimum.  We have effectively managed major renovation projects and coordinated this work to prevent unnecessary loss of rental income.  We do not mark-up work done by contractors nor do we accept any commission from them.  Our goal is to keep properties in excellent rental condition.

Properties in our rental program are promoted through color brochures, direct mail, newspaper and magazine ads, and a very dynamic website.  We establish competitive prices and use seasonal pricing and good decision making to maximize rental income for our owners.  We are not burdened by "rigid" corporate policies.

has employees who have detailed knowledge of each property in our rental program.  The majority of our staff has lived on Hilton Head Island for much of their lives and can provide information on most vacation amenities available.  We make advance reservations for activities and equipment easy.  Guests find our check-in procedure efficient and informative and we make properties available for occupancy as soon as they are clean and pass inspection.  We don't have long lines at our front desk at 4:00 p.m.

When we inspect properties we focus on cleanliness and the availability of necessary household items.  We carry a large stock of items for immediate replacement when as item is missing or broken.  A member of our staff is on call 24 hours, 7 days, year round - so problems are handled quickly and personally.  We can boast a very strong repeat guest market due to the excellent service we have provided during the many years we have rented vacation properties on Hilton Head Island.
