May 5, 2008: The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra presents "The Dream of America", Peter Boyer's story of seven immigrants who came to America and also American classics by Hailstork, Ives and Gershwin. 8:00 PM First Presbyterian Church. 843-842-2055.
May 6 to May 11, 2008: The South Carolina Repertory Company presents "Oh. Miss Tucker", a tribute to Sophie Tucker, last of the Red Hot Mammas. At the Beach city Road facility at 8:00 PM, matinees at 2:00 PM. 843-342-2057.
